These Terms apply to all visitors, authors, and clients of Owl Publishing Global ("we," "us," "our").
Owl Publishing Global provides independent-author publishing support, which may include manuscript evaluation, developmental and copy editing, cover and interior design, formatting, ISBN assignment, global print and ebook distribution, and marketing services, as described on our website or in a specific package agreement.
Authors retain 100% of the rights and royalties to their work. We provide services in exchange for the fees agreed at the time of purchase; we do not act as a traditional royalty-sharing publisher unless expressly agreed in writing.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase Services. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and billing information and for keeping your login credentials, if any, confidential.
When you submit a manuscript for evaluation or production, you confirm that:
A free evaluation is an editorial opinion, not a guarantee of commercial success, sales, or acceptance by any retailer, distributor, or reviewer.
Package pricing, inclusions, and estimated timelines are described on our website or in your service agreement at the time of purchase. Full or partial payment may be required before work begins, as specified in your order confirmation.
Prices are subject to change for future orders but will not change for Services you have already purchased and paid for.
Because our Services involve custom editorial, design, and production work, refund eligibility depends on the stage of work completed at the time of cancellation. Specific refund terms for your package will be set out in your order confirmation or service agreement.
You retain all copyright and royalty rights to your manuscript and finished book. Owl Publishing Global does not claim ownership of your work. Any cover art, design files, or promotional assets created for you become your property upon full payment, unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.
The Owl Publishing Global name, logo, website design, and original marketing materials are our intellectual property and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.
You agree not to use our website or Services to submit unlawful content, attempt unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of our website.
Our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee specific sales figures, bestseller status, media placements, or reviewer response. Publishing outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions and reader reception.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Owl Publishing Global shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate access to our Services if these Terms are violated, or if payment is not received as agreed. You may end your engagement with us at any time, subject to the cancellation and refund terms in your service agreement.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Owl Publishing Global is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
